General Information:

Every applicant must visit the website www.indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa to fill their visa application form. The complete form with all the required documents along with a copy of the passport, with a minimum validity of six months, and two recent photographs.

Foreign Nationals, who hold a valid resident permit, have to wait for at least 3 days for their visa applications to be processed. Those foreign applicants who are not holders of any valid resident permit, must pay an extra fee of SR 100/- and have to wait a little longer for their visa application so that a proper reference can be established with their respective countries of residence.

The validity of Visa begins from its issuing date.

All the applicants who are from Pakistan must submit their applications in person. The visa application takes at least two months as processing time so that reference can be made to India. For the Nationals of Sri Lanka, the time taken to process the visa application is at least one week.

Any application cannot submit his/her application via mail or post.

Any application can be rejected by The Consulate without giving any reason to the applicant.

Note:

Applicants applying for business visa must also provide an authorization letter from the business establishments in Saudi Arabia along with an invitation letter with all the required information including the type of business, duration of visa required etc. from Indian business firm.

Foreign nationals of Sudan, Lebanon, Yemen and Afghanistan must submit a letter of introduction from their respective Consulates along with the Visa application.
