Oman Visa Information

• All the applicants must carry a passport with a validity of 6 months or more. Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan do not need require this document.
• The applicants must submit the application after completing the form in person at the BLS Centre, along with a signature copy of the form and all the required documents including 2 recent passport photographs.
• This time schedule does not apply to services where prior approval is required from authorities in India, or other Indian embassies for non Omani Resident applicants. The prescribed application form may be obtained from the center or downloaded from this website.
• Foreigner visiting India must follow the rules and regulations of land and should not indulge in sex tourism. Any foreigner misusing his/her Visa by indulging in any such unlawful or undesirable practices will be punished severely. 

Please ensure the following, when submitting your application:-

• The validity of Passport should be at least six months and should have at least two blank pages.
• The applicant must paste one recent photo and staple one photograph at the mentioned spaces.
• The applicants must fill the form in English language. Any form filled in Arabic language will not be processed.
• The form must be completely filled. Any column, if found empty, might lead to the cancellation of the form.
• Nationals of Pakistan (6 copies with 12 photos) and Bangladesh (2 copies with 2 photos) must fill a Special Visa application forms.
• Citizens from Sri Lanka must fill an extra reference form which can be found at the designated counter in the Embassy.
• Every Visa application is processed differently and the Embassy can ask any questions during processing stage without providing any reason.
• If an applicant submits the Visa application, with all the required documents, it does not mean that he/she will receive the Visa.
• Non- Omani Nationals, holding a tourist or other short-term visa for Oman must apply for Visa to India from their respective countries. If there is an emergency, the applicant must submit an additional fee of Omani Rials 8.000, so that a reference can be established from the respective country of the applicant. The time taken for the processing of such visas is 5 working days.
